Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 11, 2026

Curesa Health provides non-medical in-home care in Santa Cruz County, California, and operates curesahealth.com. This policy describes the personal information we collect and the rights California residents have under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

Personal information we collect

In the preceding 12 months we have collected these categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers — name, email address, phone number, mailing address, IP address, and cookie or device identifiers.
  • Customer records (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e)) — contact details and, for clients, service and billing information.
  • Commercial information — services you inquired about or purchased.
  • Internet or other electronic network activity — pages viewed, links clicked, referring page, and browser and device type.
  • Geolocation data — approximate city or region, derived from your IP address.
  • Inferences — which services you appear interested in.
  • Sensitive personal information — health or care-need information about you or a loved one, only if you choose to describe it when you contact us.

Sources. We collect this information directly from you when you submit a form, call, or email us, and automatically from your device when you browse our website, including through the Google Analytics and PostHog analytics tools we use to measure site traffic.

Purpose. We collect it to respond to your inquiries, assess care needs, schedule and provide home care services, bill for those services, keep business records, and understand and improve how our website is used.

We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those specified in section 7027, subsection (m) of the CCPA regulations — that is, we use it only to provide the services you requested.

Sale, sharing, and disclosure

We have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding 12 months, and we do not have actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

We have disclosed all of the categories listed above for a business purpose to service providers who perform work on our behalf: our website host, analytics providers, email and telephone providers, scheduling and records systems, and payment processors. We may also disclose personal information to legal and professional advisors, or to government authorities where required by law.

How long we keep it

  • Inquiries that do not become clients (identifiers, commercial information, sensitive personal information): up to 3 years from your last contact with us.
  • Client records (identifiers, customer records, commercial information, sensitive personal information): for the duration of the service relationship, and afterward for as long as required by applicable law and our tax and insurance obligations.
  • Website analytics data (internet activity, geolocation, inferences): no longer than 14 months.

Your rights

As a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you — the categories, the sources, our purpose for collecting it, the categories of third parties we disclose it to, and the specific pieces we hold.
  • Delete the personal information we collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights.

How to submit a request

Use either method:

We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days; if we need more time, we will tell you and may take up to 45 additional days.

An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf by emailing us written permission signed by you. We may contact you directly to confirm the agent’s authority.
